Third Guilty Plea In Fatal Atlantic City Carjacking-Robbery

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- Prosecutors at the South Jersey shore have announced that three Camden, NJ men, charged in a fatal carjacking in Atlantic City, have all entered guilty pleas in the case.

Sunil Rattu, 28, of Middlesex County, NJ was killed in September 2011 and his girlfriend wounded, in an alley not far from the casino parking garage where they were held up (see related story).

Raheem Simmons, 19, has now admitted to his role in the carjacking in Atlantic County Superior Court, and will do 30 years for the crime.

His two cohorts, Eric Darden and Philip Byrd, both 21, entered similar pleas earlier (see related story).  Darden will also do 30 years (related story).

Byrd has conceded that he fired the fatal shots, and will serve a minimum 40 years for his crime.

Formal sentencing for Simmons and Byrd is scheduled for June.  Darden's case concluded last month.
