Police: Pa. Man Charged With 225 Counts Of Child Pornography
HAVERFORD, Pa. (CBS) – Police say they have charged a Havertown man with 225 felony counts of child pornography.
According to officials, the Haverford Township Police Department began an investigation on January 28th after computer technicians reported a computer hard drive they were repairing.
Police say the technicians found photos that appeared to show children engaging in sexual acts.
Allegedly, the hard-drive contained 1,797 pornographic and seductive images. Police determined 225 of the images to be child pornography.
Police interviewed Edward Jacobs, who surrendered at District Court on Wednesday.
He was arraigned and released on $500,000 unsecured bail.
