BLOG: Job Seeker Resource Website
By Jim Donovan: Philadelphia Works, the city's lead workforce development organization, has launched a newly re-designed website for job seekers in Philadelphia. The website, a first of its kind in Philadelphia, is a clearinghouse of resources and information for residents of all ages, education and skill levels in need of assistance with finding a job.
The new website can be accessed at:

The new site offers the first-ever online presence for PA CareerLink Philadelphia, a network of four centers providing free in-person consultations, workshops and access to job training funds for job seekers.
Across the four centers, visitors will access nearly 200 monthly professional workshops that help job seekers find work more quickly. Workshop topics include resume development and critique, job search strategies using social media, interview best practices, salary negotiation techniques, and much more.
