Montgomery County Man Arrested After Soliciting Officer Posing As Teenage Girl Online
HATFIELD, Pa. (CBS) – A Montgomery County man is under arrest after allegedly using the internet to sexually proposition what he believed was a 13-year-old girl, who was actually an undercover agent.
Thirty-year-old Matthew Donohoe, of Hatfield, apparently contacted the undercover agent in a popular chat room, where he immediately engaged the "girl" in sexually explicit conversation.
During subsequent conversations, the undercover Child Predator Unit officer said Donohoe sent graphic webcam transmissions that showed his exposed genitalia, among other things.
Donohoe was arrested on Feb. 21, 2013 at his home and is currently in Montgomery County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 27th, 2013.
