Phone Threat Sends Charter School Into Lockdown

 

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)  --  Thursday morning, Tacony Academy Charter High School received a threat over the phone.

Tacony and neighboring First Philadelphia Devereux Elementary campus went into lock down after the threat.

Police were called and  inspected the buildings and students for safety.

The threat came in around 10am,  the schools went in lock down shortly after and around 12pm the children were sent home.
