Say... Wasn't That You-Know-Who, Spotted in Bucks County?

By Michelle Durham

SELLERSVILLE, Pa. (CBS) -- Actor Tom Wopat is in the Delaware Valley, performing tonight at the Sellersville Theater in Bucks County.

If you remember Wopat for his iconic 1970s role as one of the stars of the TV series "The Dukes of Hazzard," you might be surprised what he's up to these days.

How does he feel about that role as Luke Duke?

"I'm so sorry," he says with a laugh and a bit of chagrin.  "I can't be held responsible!"

Wopat is currently starring in the Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained, and he has a new music album coming out next week.

Does he prefer acting or singing more?

"Singing is basically my favorite thing," he told KYW Newsradio today, "but I enjoy the acting too."

And he says he doesn't plan to slow down anytime soon.

"I like to keep smacking along," he says.  "And of course it's pilot season now, so I'm reading for some different TV shows.  Who knows?   I may wind up on the little tube again!"

In meantime, he enjoys performing and meeting his fans:  "I hang out before and after the show."
