Philadelphia Race Director Dan Frenia describes the event, which was held in other cities for the past few years, but it’s the first year for us.

“Cupid’s Undie Run is a fun run based on wearing your bedroom best around the city for about a one-mile run around Eastern State Penitentiary.”

The money raised will go to the Children’s Tumor Foundation to help find a cure for neurofibromatosis, a potentially life-threatening chromosome deficiency.

Frenia describes the dress code as, “anything goes as long as your parts are covered! Nothing’s inappropriate. We are here for the kids — the Children’s Tumor Foundation. You’ll see people wearing wings, heart boxer shorts and everything else. It’s going to be a good time.”
