Philadelphia Police Searching For Suspects Who Robbed Elementary School Student

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police in Philadelphia are searching for a suspect believed to have robbed an elementary school student.

The student was reportedly walking on the 1300 block of Girard Avenue on Jan. 22 around 7:45 a.m. when he was approached by two unknown males.

The first male threatened the boy and demanded his iPhone while the second suspect demanded money.

After the victim gave the suspects his iPhone and a SEPTA pass, they fled west on Girard towards Broad Street.

The first suspect is described as a black male who is about 5'10" and 170 lbs with a mustache. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, cargo pants and a backpack. The second suspect is approximately 5'10" and 165 lbs and was wearing a dark "Puma" hooded sweatshirt, jeans and red and white earphones. His hair was in dreadlocks.
