Teen Shot Dead In Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DE. (CBS) -- Police in Wilmington, Delaware are investigating the shooting death of a teenage boy on Saturday evening.

Officers responded to a shooting shortly before 6:30 p.m. along the unit block of East 24th Street. Upon arrival, officers found the 16-year-old victim lying on the ground, dead from a gunshot wound.

Police have not identified the victim.

Authorities do not have any suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
