Police: Man Robbed Delaware McDonalds Through Drive-Thru Window

CLAYMONT , Del. (CBS) – Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Delaware McDonalds through the drive-thru.

The incident happened around 7:03 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonalds located at 2702 Philadelphia Pike in Claymont.

According to police, the suspect approached the drive-thru window on foot saying he was armed and demanded money for the cashier. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from the employee, the suspect fled on foot through the parking lot.

The suspect has been described as a 5-foot-7 male with a thin build between the ages of 20 and 25. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask.
