Add A Little 'Ping Or Pong' To Your Pint At Drinker's On Tuesdays

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Feel like you don't get enough exercise just lifting pints at the bar? What about adding a little competition to the camaraderie with your new happy hour friends?

A pint in one hand and a ping pong paddle in the other, that's what all three Drinker's Pubs want to see their patrons sporting on a Tuesday night.

Reid Benditt is the Marketing Director & Quizmaster for all three establishments: Drinker's West, Drinker's Pub and Drinker's Tavern.

He says the ping pong happy hour runs from 7-9 p.m. every Tuesday and it's old school pick-up style, so no need to sign up to play.

But Benditt says there may be room for some competition in the future, if the players are so inclined.

"We have hopes that it will turn into a league; start to organize it, get it together so that it can last through a season."
