WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – New Castle County police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing 31-year-old Wilmington woman.

According to police, Stephanie Mcavaney left her boyfriend’s home on Rosewood Drive in Newark, Delaware around 8:55 a.m. after becoming upset.

Police say she was driving a black, 1998 Honda Civic sedan with a Delaware registration of 478607. The car has damage to the front bumper. Police are unsure of her destination.

Authorities say there is a concern for Mcavaney’s welfare due to her medical status. She has been described as a 5-foot-1, 115 lbs, white female with shoulder length hair and green eyes. She was wearing blue jeans and a white sweater.
