Police say tires on about 59 cars on Hazel and Chancellor avenues were slashed early Monday morning and the suspects were caught on camera.

At about 8 p.m. Friday, Philadelphia Police Lt. John Walker said a 36-year-old woman stopped by Southwest Detectives and had information about the person responsible for slashing the tires.

"We believe the pressure from the community and obviously maybe her conscience got to her and told her to come here and do the right thing," said Walker.

Police say they hope the information will lead them to an arrest.
