Human Remains Found at Site of Northeast Extension Road Project in Montco

TOWAMENCIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the discovery of skeletal remains at a construction site in Towamencin Township, Montgomery County.

The remains were found about 10:30 this morning at an active construction site near the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Lansdale, behind a Holiday Inn near Sumneytown Pike and Forty Foot Road.

The cause of death was pending a detailed examination by the Montgomery County coroner.

According to authorities, the person appears to have been wearing Guess jeans, a Ralph Lauren shirt, and had extensive dental work and indication of prior chest surgery.
