Police Searching For Delaware Bank Robbery Suspect

NEWPORT, Del. (CBS) - Newport Police are asking for the public's help to locate a man who robbed a bank Saturday morning.

Police say the man entered the M&T Bank branch on North James Street around 10:45 a.m., approached a teller and demanded money.

The teller reportedly gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say he then left the bank and drove off in a large pickup truck.

Witnesses described the suspect (pictured above) as a black male in his mid-to-late 20's, about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, a brown ball cap with a red logo on it, and blue jeans.
