A Realistic Resolution

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Today is your last day to come up with your resolutions for 2013. Maybe it will be weight loss or perhaps an attempt to think more often of the needs of others. Let's face it, there are numerous things we can all do to improve our lives and the lives of those around us but, whatever your resolution, keep it in perspective.

The odds are quite good that in the first few days, maybe the first few hours, you may slip up. My feeling is that you do not have to shoot for one hundred percent. So I want you to make this resolution and it is simple to keep - make a resolution to keep on trying to stick to your New Year's resolutions even after you fail.

The bottom line is that if you keep trying and succeed most of the time you will be better off.
