Ocean City Police Seek Public's Help In Search For Missing Elderly Couple

By Molly Daly

OCEAN CITY, NJ (CBS) - Police are asking for the public's help in finding an elderly Ocean City couple who've gone missing. And it's not the first time they've lost their way.

Authorities say 78-year-old John Bligh and his 70-year-old wife Ellen were last seen around 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon when they left their home.

Relatives believe the Blighs become confused at times. In 2010, they were found more than 50 miles away in Harvey Cedars.

The pair also own a house in Rockville, Maryland, but haven't lived there for several years.

John and Ellen Bligh are driving a 2004 white Toyota Camry, with New Jersey license number ZBE80J.

It has a magnet on the rear bumper that reads "Keep Christ in Christmas."

Anyone with information is asked to call Ocean City police at 609-399-9111.
