VENTNOR CITY, N.J. (CBS) — A Millville man was stabbed to death during an altercation in Ventnor on Sunday afternoon, police say.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office says police responded to a 9-1-1 call around noon. When they arrived on scene, police found the victim unresponsive outside a residence along the 300 block of North Wissahickon Avenue.

The victim was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The victim’s identity was being withheld pending notification of his family.
