Pedestrian Struck By Car In Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) - The Delaware State Police is investigating a crash Saturday afternoon in Wilmington involving a pedestrian.

Police say the incident happened just after 5 p.m. on Naamans Road east of Concord Pike.

The driver, Jamisa T. Johnson, reportedly struck the victim, Kevin Truehart, while he was crossing the street. The victim was taken by helicopter to Christiana Medical Center. He is listed in critical condition.

Johnson was not injured in the crash.

Traffic on Naamans Road was impacted for several hours as the crash was investigated and cleared.
