Utility Company Expects More Outages Due To Nor'Easter

NEW JERSEY (CBS) – PSE&G says it expects outages due to the nor'easter to undoubtedly climb once the high winds arrive Wednesday night.

The company says that 181,000 customers are still without power due to Superstorm Sandy and 60,000 customers are without due to the nor'easter.

PSE&G says crews will continue to work in the rain, but federal safety rules state that crews cannot work from bucket trucks when winds are greater than 40 mph. The company says crews will begin working again once it is safe.
