All Eyes On Pennsylvania's 20 Electoral College Votes

By Larry Kane

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Election Day, a historic day when you make the news.

The highlight event: President of the United States. In Pennsylvania (with a million-vote Democratic advantage for Barack Obama) Mitt Romney, who faces challenges in the Electoral College elsewhere, is hoping for last-minute surge. Both sides are looking for those critical 20 electoral votes.

In Pennsylvania, the full House is up for election and some of the Senate.

Three US Senate races are on today in NJ, Delaware and Pennsylvania, where Republican Tom Smith is challenging Democrat Bob Casey.

Congressional races feature Shelly Adler, Democrat, challenging Republican and ex-Eagle Jon Runyan in New Jersey, and a feisty battle in Bucks County between Democrat Kathy Boockvar and the incumbent, Mike Fitzpatrick.

A big question is whether the impact of Hurricane Sandy will affect voting but officials in our three states insist that voters will have no problems getting to the polls.
