Some Motor Vehicle Offices Reopen, Extend Expiration Dates In New Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) – Select Motor Vehicle Commission inspection stations and agencies resumed service Thursday.

Officials announced that the following inspections stations and agencies have reopened:

Agencies:

  • Bakers Basin,
  • Cherry Hill,
  • Manahawkin,
  • Mt. Holly,
  • Rio Grande,
  • Trenton,
  • Trenton Office Complex,
  • Vineland and
  • West Deptford,


Inspection Stations:

  • Bakers Basin,
  • Cape May,
  • Cherry Hill,
  • Deptford,
  • Eatontown,
  • Kilmer,
  • Lakewood,
  • Lodi,
  • Manahawkin,
  • Mays Landing,
  • Millville,
  • Newark,
  • Newton,
  • Plainfield,
  • Randolph,
  • Salem,
  • Secaucus,
  • Southampton,
  • Wayne and
  • Winslow.

Officials also announced that all specialty vehicle inspections, driver tests and driver conferences scheduled between November 1st and 3rd will be rescheduled by the Motor Vehicle Commission and a 30-day extension has been authorized for all vehicle registrations, inspections and driver licenses that expired on October 31st.
