BLOG: Allstate Sets Up Mobile Claim Centers

By Jim Donovan: Allstate has set up two Mobile Claims Centers to help Pennsylvania and New Jersey residents in the aftermath of Sandy.

These self-contained mobile claims offices are equipped with generators, satellite technology and high-speed internet connectivity so Allstate's National Catastrophe Team can provide policyholders claim support in areas hardest hit by Sandy. By visiting a Mobile Claims Center, Allstate customers will be able to start the claims process and ask questions about their claim.

Hours of operation for all the Mobile Claims Centers are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am-5:00pm. The current Allstate Mobile Claims Center locations are listed below:

Home Depot - 181 South Gulph Rd, King of Prussia, PA, 19406
Home Depot - 1722 New Jersey Route 88, Brick, NJ, 08724

The locations of these units are subject to change. For an updated list of locations visit http://al.st/9Ynovs.

Additionally, Allstate has deployed its new Catastrophe Response Vehicles in Langhorne, PA; Point Pleasant, NJ; and Seaside Heights, NJ. These vehicles are small and swift, can easily maneuver city streets, and allow claim adjusters quick access to the most heavily damaged areas, often as soon as local authorities give the ok to enter an area. Each CRV is equipped with technology that connects to Allstate networks for claim handling assistance.

Allstate policyholders whose homes or automobiles have been damaged by Sandy can contact Allstate by calling 1-800-54-STORM, visiting a Mobile Claims Center, or logging onto Allstate.com.
