PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police are investigating the shooting death of a teenage girl inside a West Philadelphia home where she was babysitting on Tuesday night.

Investigators say the 19-year-old victim was shot in the head inside an Aberdeen Street home in the city’s Parkside section around 9 p.m.. Investigators say she opened the front door for a man who was trying to escape a pair of gunmen who were chasing him.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police took the man who was running from the shooters into custody, but they are still searching for the two gunmen.
