Cumberland County Declares State Of Emergency

CUMBERLAND COUNTY (CBS) - A State of Emergency has been declared in Cumberland County.

Bridgeton, Millville, and Vineland have all issued travel restrictions. Residents are urged to stay off the roads as weather conditions worsen.

Officials say police, fire and EMS and emergency management personnel are exempt from travel restrictions. Healthcare workers providing medical care, utility workers responsible to maintain or restore public utilities and communications systems, are considered essential personnel and are permitted to travel.

In the City of Vineland, authorities say parking will not be allowed along the following routes:

Chestnut Ave. – Delsea Dr. to Main Rd.
Landis Ave. – Delsea Dr. to Main Rd.
Park Ave. – Delsea Dr. to Main Rd.
East Ave. – Chestnut Ave. to Park Ave.
West Ave. – Chestnut Ave. to Park Ave.
East Blvd. – Chestnut Ave. to Park Ave.
West Blvd. – Chestnut Ave. to Park Ave.
Elmer St. – Entire roadway
Wood St. – Entire roadway
