Tickets On Sale For 21st Annual Philadelphia Film Festival

By Hadas Kuznits

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The 21st annual Philadelphia Film Festival kicks off next month, but tickets are available now.

Andrew Greenblatt, executive director of the Philadelphia Film Society says it's that time of the year again when movie buffs congregate.

"The festival runs from October 18th through October 28th this year."

Kuznits: "And you can start to get your tickets when?"

Greenblatt: "If you are a member of the Film Society, you can get your tickets on Friday the 28th of September. If you are not a member, you can get your tickets Monday October 1st."

And he says opening night at the Philadelphia Film Festival showcases what he describes as one of the best films of the whole event.

"If there were ever a film that was custom made for us at the Philadelphia Film Festival it would be our opening night film, Silver Linings Playbook. It shot in and around Philadelphia last year, it stars homegrown Bradley Cooper."
