BLOG: Mom's Clubs Hold Rummage Sales 9/29 & 10/6
By Jim Donovan: If you're interested in rummage sales, I've got some information about two big events that help to support some local mom's clubs.
First up, The Valley Forge Mothers of Twins and Triplets Fall/Winter Clothing & Equipment Sale is scheduled for Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Green Tree Church of the Brethren in Oaks.
You'll find great deals on new and gently used children's clothing, baby equipment, toys, books and more. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Location: Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks, PA
Date: Saturday, September 29, 2012
Time: 8:30am for members with appropriate ID (including local sister clubs) 9:00am for the General Public
Cash payment preferred and checks will be accepted with valid ID. Credit cards are not accepted at this time
Next up, The Bucks-Mont Mothers of Multiples Club is holding its fall Kids Rummage Sale on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 1000 W. Main Street in Lansdale. The sale will take place in Hyson Hall. Admission is free.
Items for sale include children's gently used clothing (sizes newborn to 16), toys, equipment (including high chairs, toddler beds/cribs and baby swings), and fall/winter seasonal wear. No strollers are permitted inside Hyson Hall.
