Bensalem Police Looking For Suspect Who Robbed And Assaulted Gas Station Employee

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Bucks County are searching for a suspect who was caught on tape assaulting and robbing a gas station employee.

The incident happened at about 5:50 a.m. on September 6th at the Lukoil gas station located on Lincoln Highway in Trevose, Pa.

According to investigators, the suspect entered the cashier's booth and demanded money from the attendant. The suspect then punched the attendant in the left eye and a struggle ensued.

The suspect was eventually able to flee on foot, running behind the Lukoil and into the Colonial Point Apartments. He is described as a white male about 45-50 years old and approximately 6'2" and 240 lbs. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans and has a short scruffy beard and blonde hair.

Bensalem police are asking that anyone with information on the suspect contact them.
