A Conversation With American Tennis Star Jim Courier

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Jim Courier is an American tennis legend.  During his career as a high level pro he won 23 titles, including four Grand Slams, and on three separate occasions he was ranked as the #1 player in the world.

These days, Courier serves as the captain of the United States Davis Cup team, a tennis broadcaster and he is also playing in the PowerShare Series and it is in that role that he will be coming to Philadelphia in two months.

Courier, along with other giants of the game, will be playing in a Champions Shootout at the Wells Fargo Center on November 2nd.

KYW's Matt Leon spoke to Courier this week about Andy Roddick's decision to retire, his role as Davis Club captain, his career and his upcoming visit to Philadelphia.
