Police: Pa. Man Who Suffers From 'Homicidal Attacks' Arrested For Beating Friends With Dumbbell

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly hitting three acquaintances in the head with a dumbbell.

Police say the alleged attack happened early Sunday morning after a night of drinking.

The Beaver County Times reports Tuesday that 21-year-old Daniel Joseph Druzak of Beaver Falls is facing three counts of attempted murder and six counts of aggravated assault.

Police say they found Druzak on the back porch of his residence, a non-profit group home serving mental health needs.

Druzak later told officers he suffers from "homicidal attacks" and admitted striking the victims, according to police.

Druzak is being held at the Beaver County Jail on $500,000 bail, according to court documents. No attorney was listed for him.
