Police Investigating Shooting Of Man In Germantown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating the shooting of a man in Philadelphia that happened early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. in the 900 block of E. Woodlawn Avenue in the city's Germantown section.

According to investigators, a 36-year-old male was shot once in the left side. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in serious condition.

Detectives believe the motive may have been robbery. So far, no arrests have been made.

The shooting remains under investigation.
