Police: Homeowner Tied Up In South Philadelphia Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for several suspects in connection with a home invasion in South Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.

The invasion happened at about 6:30 a.m. inside a home in the 1300 block of McKean Street.

According to investigators, three suspects barged into the home and tied up the homeowner and covered them with a sheet.

Investigators say the suspects robbed the home, but it was not immediately known what was taken. The suspects then ran out of the home.

Police have not said if the homeowner was injured in the incident.

So far, no arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.
