Jason Babin Out 2-3 Weeks With Calf Strain

By Spike Eskin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – There are always injuries at training camp, the key is that they stay of the "minor" variety. The good news on Jason Babin is that his seems to be just that.

94WIP and Comcast Sportsnet's Reuben Frank reports that defensive end Jason Babin will be out two to three weeks with a second degree calf strain. Babin had an MRI that confirmed the severity of the strain.

Frank tweeted, "the issue with Babin's calf is that the partially torn muscle is the one he uses to push off when he rushes the passer. Gotta be cautious."
