Voorhees Man Kicked Out For Negative Social Media Post

By Melony Roy,

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A Voorhees man found out how social media can have an immediate impact when he was kicked out of a concert for sending a negative tweet during the show.

"Dear nerd rapper opening for Powerglove/ MC Chris you're not good enough to pander to me better luck next time," said the tweet of Mike Taylor.

Mike Taylor sent the tweet from his mobile device at Union Transfer on Tuesday night to his 100 or so followers while awaiting nerd rapper MC Chris to take the stage. But he was not expecting what happened next.

"As I'm sitting there I hear him specifically say, 'Hey I'm looking for Mike Taylor,' and I raise my hand you know, [and MC Chris says] 'Hey, there you are, security is going to take you out now,' followed by 'That's what you get for talking [bleep] on twitter,'" said Taylor.

MC Chris, whose real name is Christopher Ward, has since apologized via a YouTube video, asking forgiveness from fans and Union Transfer did issue Mike Taylor a refund.
