34 University City Restaurants Participate In Dining Days

By Hadas Kuznits

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - University City is hosting its own version of Restaurant Week.

Lori Brennan with the University City District says Dining Days is a way for folks to get deals at some of University City's best restaurants.  She says participating restaurants offer $15, $25 or $30 menus.

"We require any restaurant that participates in Dining Days [to] offer a significant savings off of what these items would normally cost; so whether or not you're dining in a $15 restaurant or one $30 restaurant, you are still saving significantly."

Listen to Hadas Kuznits' interview with Lori Brennan in this CBS Philly podcast:

This year there are 34 restaurants participating.

"This is our 9th year of Dining Days.  It's really successful, it grows every year. This is a record number of restaurants participating for us, and this is our third year of doing it for two weeks."

Dining Days runs through July 26th.
