PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today's APP-tastic and outta SITE - Runtastic.

Everyone needs some encouragement when they're running – especially during the hot summer months. Runtastic, though, goes a bit above and beyond.

As you might expect, it offers the usual features, like tracking your runs and mapping your workouts and keeping weekly, monthly and annual statistics. The kicker here is you can hear cheers and receive live messages from friends to boost your motivation and convince you to go a little bit further.
