Man In Critical Condition After Stabbing At Camden 7-Eleven

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) – A man is in critical condition after being stabbed at a convenience store in New Jersey early Monday morning.

The stabbing happened at about 3:30 a.m. inside the 7-Eleven located in the 2000 block of Federal Street in the city of Camden.

According to investigators, the unidentified man was stabbed multiple times by the suspect. He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Police believe the victim was targeted by the suspect for a robbery. The suspect fled the scene in a red car.

Investigators say they recovered a bloody knife at the scene.

The stabbing remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Camden police.
