Home Invasion In Delaware Leaves Elderly Couple Hospitalized
LAUREL, Del. (CBS) – Delaware State Police are searching for two male suspects they believe are responsible for a home invasion that left an elderly couple hospitalized.
Authorities say the incident happened at about 5 a.m. at the 30,000 block of Old Sailor Road in Laurel, Delaware.
Allegedly, the two suspects forced their way into the residence of the elderly couple and physically assaulted them before demanding money.
The victims, an 88-year-old male and an 83-year-old female, complied and gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital, where they are reportedly in stable condition.
