Rain Postpones Phils' Opener; Twin Bill Set For Sunday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Friday night's game between the Phillies and Rays was postponed due to inclement weather after almost a three-hour wait.

So now both clubs will play a day-night, split-admission doubleheader on Sunday, with the first game starting at 1:05 p.m. and the second at 6:35 p.m.

Tickets for Friday's game will be valid for the 6:35 p.m. game on Sunday.

Though Cliff Lee was slated to start Friday's game for the Phillies, Kyle Kendrick (2-7, 5.29) will take the mound on Saturday. Sunday's starters are to be announced, but it's likely that Lee (0-3, 3.48) will pitch in one of the games and Cole Hamels (10-3, 3.25) will start the other.

Kendrick will oppose James Shields (7-4, 3.72), who was originally supposed to start on Friday. The Rays' starters on Sunday will be Alex Cobb (3-3, 3.82) and David Price (9-4, 3.08), but the club has yet to decide who will start which game.
