Chase Utley To Begin Rehab Assignment Tonight

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies announced that Chase Utley's rehab assignment will begin tonight in Clearwater. Utley will be the designated hitter tonight, but will begin playing second base shortly.

Players are permitted to take up to 20 days on rehab assignments. Comcast Sportsnet's Jim Salisbury said he believes Utley will take most of the 20 days to rehab, while Peter Gammons suggested that he believes Utley will return sooner.
