HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, Pa (CBS) – Horsham Township Police and the FBI are searching for the suspect in connection to the armed robbery of the Colonial American Bank on Welsh Road in Horsham.

Authorities say the bank was robbed at about 5:45 p.m. on June 8th.

The suspect was wearing a large-brimmed straw hat, a sack or pillowcase over his head with eye holes cut out, sunglasses, dark pants, a suit coat, a tie, gloves, and a handgun in a shoulder holster.

The suspect is said to be about 5’7” to 5’11” tall with a heavy/stocky build; the race is unknown.

It is reported that the suspect fled the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
