PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies have had to call up more than their fair share of players from AAA during this season of injury and ineffectiveness.

However, one of those players has NOT been outfielder Domonic Brown.  Once the “it” kid of the organization, Brown has, to this point, failed to live up to the lofty expectations placed upon him.  However, he has started to get hot at AAA just as he has started to get time in center field.

Brown is hitting .324 thus far in June, with three home runs and ten runs scored in nine games.

KYW’s Matt Leon spoke with Iron Pigs broadcaster Matt Provence about Brown and who else is making noise at Triple-A.  They also discuss B.J. Rosenberg, the right-handed reliever recently promoted from Lehigh Valley to the Phillies.
