Center City Restaurant Offers Patrons Park & Eat Deal

By Anne-Marie Green

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A new Center City restaurant, which already features custom salads, stir fry and fresh fruit dipped in honey, is now offering patrons something even sweeter.

If a customer gets a parking ticket while eating at Honeygrow, located at 16th and Chestnut Street, the restaurant will give them a $38 restaurant gift card.

"It's basically our way of giving back when you get dogged. So, we're going to take care of you." owner Justin Rosenberg said.

He came up with the idea after getting numerous tickets himself during the time the restaurant was under construction. He decided to set aside $1000 to help customers who find themselves in the same predicament.

The offer will last only as long as the money does. In order to take advantage, patrons must show the ticket along with their license and registration.
