PECO Multicultural Series Continues With Israel Independence Day Celebration

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The PECO multicultural series continues at Penn's Landing today with the celebration of Israel's Independence Day.
The Great Plaza is packed with dozens of tents for visitors to enjoy Israeli food, there is plenty of information on available programs and services as well as fun activities for kids.
At the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's tent, they have a mural set up for people to paint.
"Everyone is standing here, painting different sections of it. We've got the Wailing Wall, we've got families together, it's a pretty fun time."
"It's really interesting. We can do anything we want with it, with the colors."
The mural will be finished by visitors then put on display at different events during the course of the
year.
