Two Injured, One Dead After Being Hit By Car In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities say a car struck three men painting a fence in northeast Philadelphia, killing one of them and injuring the others.

Police said the crash happened at about 6:45 a.m. Saturday in the Bustleton section of the city.

Officials said the 42-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after he was hit by the car. Two other painters were taken to Aria Hospital-Torresdale for treatment of minor injuries.

Police said the 22-year-old driver was also taken there for treatment of shoulder pain. No arrests have been made in the crash.
