Stars At The Shore: Scott Disick

By Veronica Dudo

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (CBS) -- The ever-entertaining Scott Disick from the reality TV series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" recently hosted a party at the Pool After Dark in Atlantic City. The E! Network's hit Kardashian franchise features the day-to-day trials and tribulations of the Kardashian clan. Disick is Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend and father of her 2-year old son Mason. The couple is also welcoming a new addition to the family soon.

Besides appearing on the reality series, Disick recently opened a restaurant in New York City. With the seventh season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" set to premiere May 20th, the 28-year-old talked about the show's explosive new season and the possibility of opening another restaurant.

You have certainly seen your fair share of nightclubs--what do you think of the Pool After Dark?

It's unbelievable--it's an absolute monster as far as square footage for business for a venue. It's really unbelievable what they did with the place. My only thing I wonder is if people that are lying out all day during the day--do they think they're getting sun under the glass? I just don't know. I'm not sure if the UV rays are coming in like a tanning salon, but I think they think it is. But I'm excited to be here, and not so often do you get to be at places that are like this. It's unbelievable!

Did you enjoy the process of opening a restaurant in New York City?

It was a lot more than I expected, but thank God it paid off in the long run and turned out to be a great place, and we've been booked. We've been selling a lot of tables and making a lot of food, but initially, it wasn't as easy as I thought. I went into it thinking I'd make some great food, I'd have a great location, I'd be done, but obviously I think in every business, that's not the case. But as far as now, it's doing great, things are going well. There's a few little things we're going to change--not really food-oriented, just maybe cosmetic stuff--but other than that, it's fantastic.

Will you open another location?

I think I'm going to open another location. My actual partner is here, Brian Gold, in my restaurant business, and we're thinking about opening a restaurant in California. And we're not sure if we're going to go Japanese or Italian, but we're going to keep the brand of RYU. We're very excited about it!

What can you divulge about the seventh season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians"?

It's hard for me to remember exactly what went on. I know that there's some fighting, and then there's some making up, and then there was some loving and hating--something similar to what you've seen before, but probably a little bit more intense, and a lot more personal things that I think people are really going to love. I guess you would maybe say [that it's] really a peeling back the onion on some of the characters--meaning some of the people in the show--so it's special.

For the past couple of years, the reality show has been documenting your life. Are you excited to show it to your children one day?

Yeah, of course. It's a beautiful thing. I mean, thank God I don't have to be the one that's running around with a video camera--I got somebody else doing it for me.
