Delaware Police Investigating Shooting That Involved Group Of Suspects

NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS) – New Castle County police are investigating a shooting that involved multiple suspects in the Maple Hill Townhouses.

Around 10:45 p.m. on Monday night, police responded to the area of Revelle Street and Deen Street after they heard reports of shots fired. The officers found a 19-year-old male victim on Baylis Street near Pell Street who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was transported to Christiana Hospital and is in stable condition.

Just minutes later at 11:07 p.m., police learned that another victim, a 24-year-old man, who was also suffering from a gunshot wound had arrived at Christiana Hospital by private vehicle. He is in Intensive Care.

While investigating, police learned that three homes and five vehicles had sustained damage as a result of the gunfire.
