The accident happened at about 6 p.m. on Hamilton Boulevard near Interstate 78 in Lower Macungie Township. Just before heading onto the highway, the bus reportedly side swiped a car, then struck a light pole.

School officials also say those injured were taken to either Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest or St. Luke’s in Allentown for non-life-threatening injuries.
