Two Men Arrested In Delaware After Cops Find 7 Pounds Of Marijuana In Their Car

LAUREL, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police have arrested two men after finding seven pounds of marijuana in a car during a traffic stop.

Thirty-five-year-old Chad Newsome of Trenton, N.J. and 31-year-old Thomas Harrison of Los Angeles have been charged with possession of marijuana and other offenses. They are being held on secured bond.

Police say about 10:55 a.m. Tuesday, a trooper stopped a car on U.S. 13 for failing to signal a lane change. Officers say Newsome and Harrison behaved suspiciously and the car was searched.

Troopers say seven pounds of marijuana in four packages were found.
