According to police, the attendant was working at the E-Z Park Parking Lot in the 1300 block of Locust Street when he attacked at about 7:45 p.m.

"He was struck in the face and the head several times with a brick … he received some serious injuries to his head and face," Chief Inspector Scott Small explained.

The victim was rushed to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition.

Investigators say the suspects went through the victim's pockets and his booth. Police believe the suspects made off with approximately $200.

Police recovered the brick at the scene.
